Hello there!

We have been super busy soaking up the sun and cruising our way down the Bahamas. Spending time here has been the best way to ease into the cruising lifestyle. Waking up, seeking new islands to explore, paddle boarding, experimenting with new recipes and actually having people to feed.. has been a pleasure. The only thing that I lack lately has been TIME. We are busy bees. Time to do nothing, is something sacred that no one shall ever take for granted! A little word of advice for everyone...never take time to do nothing for granted! Never!.. and on the other side of the coin - always say YES to new things and adventures. Baaalaance. Which is something I am frequently trying to strive for. The typical human struggle... :)

The islands we have explored and creatures we have laid eyes upon this past month have been truly unreal. Iguanas, adorable little piggies, and sharks!! I will post pictures of the Bahamas soon when I get better wifi. So I must go. I am about to make some vegan jalepeno poppers for the pre-game Super Bowl party and then we are going to get ready to leave for CUBA tomorrow! But I’d like to drop this recipe here for you. This recipe has been such a refreshing smoothie in the midst of our sunny weather and salty swims! This is also great for breakfast as well! Enjoy! 

3/4 cup coconut water

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

1 frozen banana

1-2 tablespoons of lime 

1 date 

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If there are tiny bits of dates leftover in the smoothie consider it a treat at the end of your glass!
